Neil Hunter Austin is a blues rock singer songwriter/guitarist based in Seattle, Washington.

Neil's early musical tastes made him very much a '90s stereotype. From Nirvana to Oasis, he became obsessed with bands that were very different but mor

e or less came from the same place.

That common thread eventually led him back to the '50s and '60s, where he discovered artists like Jimi Hendrix, The Beatles, The Rolling Stones, and many more.

The angsty grunge of his youth and the bluesy rock 'n' roll that he'd grown to love began to intermingle in his mind, and when he first put pen to paper and finger to guitar string, what he created was equally reminiscent as it was entirely unique.

Neil’s first single "Take Me Home" is a perfect reflection of that. It's about looking at the world we're living in and feeling both dissatisfied and defiantly optimistic. If this song can take you "home," whatever that means for you, even for a few minutes, then it has served its purpose.
